Here is the almost comprehensive and partly true story of the Pink It Black birth...
Sometimes life is beautiful, smiling, full of hope and dreams. In that moments, often under the influence of some sweets words, we see our “vie en rose” (life through rose-coloured glasses), as Edith Piaf have sung it.
But at times, life is dirty, unfair and sad as a november rainy sunday, blanketting souls of dark* despair.
* If you think pink is sad and black is happy, it also works, we wear both colors, what is important is the general idea...
We all know those colour changing emotions, with all the temperloured (it's some kind of coloured temper) variants between those extremes ... In fact, it looks like the sunset over Belledonne which everyone knows (especially in Grenoble).
So, as musicians, we just wanted to share this happinkyness with other people... so we brought noise, funny clothes and smiles in the street! The only missing thing was a name for the band.
Well, you know, we are sons of the rock generation so we all know the famous song "Paint it Black" from the Rolling Stones and as french crazy froggies we are not scared when creating some kind of globish-meaningless word or sentence ... here we are : Pink It Black, the band that pinks your life!
Pink It Black is a band you need to seehear: you can't feel all the happyness only by seeing it or hearing it. To let you forget troubles, it goes beyond the infinity of music styles : original soundtrack, french and international variety, balkanic, traditional european street music, bandas... we use everything we know to make you sing, dance, jump, shout, laugh ... in a nutshell, to make you feeling alive!
